An Accredited Education
Many of the young women that enter our program are behind in their education. Eagle's Rest Ranch operates a fully accredited education program that is integrated into the overall program. Many of the young women that graduate our program also graduate with their GED and go on, readily prepared for college.
Our teachers are also highly involved in the therapeutic process. They participate weekly in treatment teams where they are able to give academic feedback for your daughter to her therapist.

Equine Therapy
Arriving to treatment can be a struggle all on its own for our young women. Equine therapy is a crucial first step to helping them break down barriers and begin the healing process.
Horses are very social animals. They have a unique ability to reflect the behavior of the human they are working with. When the human they work with is fearful or aggressive, the horse becomes uncompliant. When you can show compassion and assertiveness to the horse, they respond well. This helps our young women recognize their emotions that they may not even be aware of.
